Commodity Manager
(Southern Tagalog – General Trias, Cavite)

Responsibilities:

• As a Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for the over-all materials acquisition deliverables within a specific commodity; this function drives the materials strategies that ensure quality, cost, time to market and technological advantages are obtained.
• This position is responsible in leading the commodity management process that integrates technology, quality, cost, availability and divisional business requirements into a viable supplier roadmap and long range commodity management plans; also, this person will be the first contact of suppliers and will do the tracking of performance of suppliers.

Requirements:

• 10 years of overall purchasing experience and 5 years of commodity experience
• Preferably started as buyer and then rose from the ranks
• Exposure in sourcing services related commodities (e.g. Bank, payroll and IT)
• Knowledgeable in Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and related materials forecasting tools and all aspects of procurement
• Has strong experience in negotiation plans and supplier management; possesses good negotiation skills
• Preferably from Semiconductor industry and residing in Cavite
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledgeable in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Certificate in Purchasing Management is an advantage
• College graduate
