Resort General Manager
(Batangas)

 Responsibilities:

planning and organising accommodation, catering and other hotel/resort services;

promoting and marketing the business;

managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure;

maintaining statistical and financial records;

setting and achieving sales and profit targets;

regular reporting to the board of directors;

recruiting, training and monitoring staff;

planning work schedules for individuals and teams;

meeting and greeting customers;

dealing with customer complaints and comments;

addressing problems and troubleshooting;

ensuring events and conferences run smoothly;

supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;

dealing with contractors and suppliers;

ensuring security is effective;

carrying out inspections of property and services;

ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;

Requirements:

A college diploma or university degree in hospitality management or a related field;

Minimum of 5 years experience as General Manager or Director of Operations in a deluxe hotel/ resort;

Competent in all areas of operations with proven ability on revenue generation, developing /executing business plans and skilled in fiscal management practices;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead a diverse team, he/she will be responsible in delivering a world –class facility, high quality service and financial success of the resort

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Proficient in computer and internet applications
  • Completed 3 years of college education in any course, or finished a two-year diploma or certificate course
